Giovana Schluter is a portrait and documentary photographer, based in the South Bronx, in New York City. She studied Photojournalism at the International Center of Photography (ICP), holds a Bachelor degree in Journalism and also studied Social Sciences at the University of São Paulo. Her work has been featured on TIME LIghtbox, Vogue Italia, The New Yorker Photo Instagram and Mashable, among others, and exhibited at the International Center of Photography and The Bronx Museum. In her work, she is primarily concerned with the relationships between people and man-made landscape and how architecture and infrastructure silently express culture and ideology.
